We’re partnering with a range of well-regarded venues across Melbourne CBD seeking experienced Sous Chefs to join high-performing kitchen teams. These opportunities suit chefs who thrive in fast-paced environments, lead confidently during service, and bring a strong balance of operational leadership and hands-on cooking ability.
You’ll work closely with Head Chefs and senior leadership teams to oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, manage large teams, maintain consistency across service, and uphold high food and presentation standards. Strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to run an organised, efficient pass are essential.
These roles are based within busy, high-performing venues delivering anywhere from 300–1000 covers per shift, requiring strong leadership, organisation, and the ability to maintain standards under pressure.
We’re looking to connect with chefs who can mentor and develop junior staff while also staying on top of administrative responsibilities including rostering, ordering, stock control, and labour management.
