One of Melbourne's most iconic restaurants is seeking a Sous Chef to work alongside the senior leadership team and manage a large team of chefs.
This role will require someone who is incredibly detail oriented as well as having excellent communication skills.
Someone who is able to control a pass with ease whilst still maintaining speed, accuracy and efficiency is key to this role.
We’re looking to engage with highly skilled Chefs who know how to mentor through service yet can balance time to keep up with administrative tasks.
About You
- A minimum of 3 years Sous Chef experience is essential, preferably within contemporary or fine dining.
- Strong financial acumen across cost control, stock management and labour budgets
- Proven experience leading and connecting with large teams in a fast paced environment.
- Deeply immersed in the Melbourne food and beverage scene, you know the local favourites, are always seeking out new spots, and can find flavour wherever you go.
