  • High-energy, varied environment where no two days are the same.
  • Work closely with and report to the State Manager.
  • A business that values personality, initiative, leadership and results.
  • The opportunity to make your mark and be recognised for what you bring to the business.
THE ROLE
As the Venue Manager, you will take ownership of the overall performance and success of the venue, leading a large team and ensuring the business consistently delivers against its people, customer, operational and financial objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:

Leadership & People

  • Build strong leadership capability across your management team.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance management and succession planning.
  • Set clear expectations and empower your team to take ownership.
  • Develop and retain great people while addressing performance issues confidently and effectively.
  • Be a highly visible leader who leads by example and brings energy to the floor.
Commercial & Financial Management
  • Take ownership of venue P&L performance, budgets and financial targets.
  • Drive revenue, profitability, customer numbers and average spend.
  • Monitor labour costs, productivity and staffing levels to ensure commercial targets are achieved.
  • Analyse financial and operational data and turn insights into practical action.
  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue, control costs and maximise venue performance.
  • Report regularly on results, opportunities and challenges to the State Manager.
Operations & Performance
  • Ensure the venue operates to consistently high standards across service, safety, compliance and presentation.
  • Implement and maintain company policies, procedures and operational standards.
  • Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Manage high-volume periods calmly and effectively — pressure is where you perform at your best!
  • Work collaboratively with senior management and other venues across the wider business.
Customer Experience
  • Champion an outstanding customer experience and ensure the venue delivers a memorable atmosphere.
  • Maintain strong brand standards while creating an environment customers genuinely want to return to.
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement initiatives to continually improve the guest experience.
ABOUT YOU
We’re looking for someone who has leadership presence, commercial nous and plenty of personality!
You’ll ideally have:
  • 3–5+ years’ experience as a Venue Manager, Restaurant Manager, Operations Manager or similar senior hospitality role.
  • Proven experience leading large teams in a high-volume hospitality or entertainment environment.
  • Strong financial understanding, including P&L, budgets, labour costs, revenue and KPI management.
